Rising from a century of local history, Elmdale Health Centre is at the site of the historic Elmdale Public School. The new facility provides integrated healthcare services in St. Thomas, Ontari. Originally completed in 1920, the school was celebrated for being the first in Ontario to include a gymnasium and served the community for decades before closing following the opening of John Wise Public School in 2009. Today, Elmdale Health Centre supports the community’s health while honoring the site’s long-standing role as a place of care and gathering.
