The new Port Stanley brewery and restaurant is a renovation of the old Dominion of Canada (DOC) building. The Dominion Building was a federal “customs and tariff facility” for monitoring international goods. Before WWII, Port Stanley harbour was one of Canada’s top ten international ports of call, and during this time, the region benefited from commercial trades with the US. Located just a short distance from the beach, the renovation infuses the old building with new life. The restaurant has a dining area of 40 seats, as well as two covered patios on each side of the building, with a total of 270 seats. The building has 14 on-site parking and 64 existing off-site parking spaces.
