Working alongside Sierra Construction on other projects, Philip Agar Architect was given the opportunity to design their headquarters in Woodstock, Ontario. Originally a commercial printing factory, the proposed retrofit opens up the existing building shell with two-storey glazing for daylight. Significant excavating is proposed to allow for daylight to enter the basement floor. The front entrance canopy represents and highlights their companies bridge construction sector.
