Philip Agar Architect and Sunripe have worked closely together for over 10 years to accomplish a signature prototype for their grocery stores. Originally based in Sarnia, Sunripe has expanded their footprint to London for a total of four stores. The Sunripe aesthetic is akin to a traditional red brick market design. All three locations have been thoroughly planned based on equipment layouts, visitor circulation, and the produce’s sensitivity to daylight. As a technical detail orientated company, Philip Agar Architect was successful in ensuring that all urban planning, engineering and architecture are cohesive. This cohesion is a key factor for the efficiency of Sunripe’s daily production.
